With over 30 years of experience in the building industry and various qualifications, including a pest inspectors license and an unrestricted builders license, Sam Roumeliotis is one of the best inspectors in the pre-purcahse building and pest inspection industry.

Pest Inspector
Nathan has been working with BPI Adelaide for the last 8 Years and has conducted 1000’s of pest inspections for BPI Adelaide. He is a qualified pest Controller and previously worked in his Grandfathers long established and well respected Pest Control Company www.lawlorpestcontrol.com.au.
Nathan brings a wealth of knowledge both in finding termite activity as well as advice for the treatment of termites.

Finance Manager
Renata Roumeliotis is the guru when it comes to BPI Adelaide’s accounts and payment system. Although she works behind the scenes, Renata’s contribution is a highly valued aspect of the everyday running of BPI Adelaide.

Unfortunately in South Australia the building inspection industry is not properly regulated. We strongly recommend Licensing checks be carried out on so called “ Building Inspectors” . These so called inspectors usually have restricted licenses ie carpenters, painters , landscapers, bricklayers or no licenses at all. Recently 2 and 3 day courses have been conducted here in South Australia with the result being you have just become a qualified building inspector.
There are many that have taken advantage of the non uniform licensing Laws in Australia to make a quick buck. The minimum qualification in our opinion should be an unrestricted general builders supervisors license as in QLD and NSW which is obtained thru your respective states governing body. This license can only be obtained by years of experience and / or proper educational qualifications.
Ensure that your pest inspector has a proper Pest Managers Technicians License and does not use fancy wording or equipment to pass as a qualified pest inspector.
These checks will at least ensure that probably your largest investment in life is properly checked by inspectors that have done the hard yards and have the proper credentials and experience to advise you properly.

To ensure your building and pest inspector complies with current Australian Standards, they must provide you with an inspection agreement form. If they do not provide an inspection agreement form than in most cases they are usually not insured or properly qualified to provide building or pest inspection services.
